Dana Lugassy, LCSW, LCADC, earned her MSW in 1997 from Rutgers University School of Social Work. After three years working in a residential mental health program, she began her career at Middlesex County’s community mental health center as a clinician in their adult partial care program. Over her career, she has specialized in working with co-occurring disorders. She has been certified as a tobacco treatment specialist (CTTS) since 2009 and established a tobacco dependence treatment program at her agency. Currently, she serves as Assistant Director of the Partial Care program, where she supervises clinicians and continues to facilitate addiction recovery and tobacco treatment groups. As of 2020, she is also a part-time lecturer at Rutgers University’s School of Social of Work, in their MSW Addiction Counselor Training certificate program.
