About the Gala and Our Mission

The Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey (CCGNJ) is hosting this meaningful fundraising event to help us expand services that truly make a difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by problem gambling.

Our deepest hope is to purchase a dedicated building, named in honor of Arnie Wexler, a compassionate advocate and pioneer in the battle against problem gambling. This center will be a safe haven and a place of hope, where we can:

• Provide vital support and resources to those struggling with problematic gambling behavior

• Strengthen the Nationwide 1-800-GAMBLER® Helpline Community

• Offer a space for support groups, community outreach, and educational programs

• Raise awareness and foster understanding about the harms of gambling and pathways to recovery

Your generosity and support at this event will help us build a brighter future. One where no one has to face their struggles alone, and everyone can find hope and healing.

Together, we can create a community where responsible gambling is celebrated, and those in need know they are not alone in their recovery journey.
